What’s up, Lake Nona?! It’s a new week and that means a new episode of your favorite weekly show! In this episode of IN THE NONA, we’ll be covering the upcoming Run Nona 5K, the mysterious pink tree, and some special month long holidays for August as we enter the final week of the month.

Boxi Park Lake Nona announced that they will be opening soon, but there is no date in mind. We have also heard that Drive Shack Orlando plans on reopening, but we have not heard a timeline. We’ll keep you posted in future episodes as we learn more on both reopenings.
Beginning Tuesday, August 25 is Be Kind to Humankind Week! I challenge you to pay it forward!
Also on Tuesday, AdventHealth Lake Nona is hosting its grand opening via Facebook Live! Find the event here: Facebook Live: AdventHealth Lake Nona ER Grand Opening.
Wednesday is National Dog Day! You all know I’m dog obsessed and I think my hat and shirt featuring Zander and Zar’s ears really give it away!
The month of August is also National Wellness Month! How are you staying well?
August is also Family Fun Month and quarantine has pushed families to become more creative when it comes to entertainment. How are you and your family having fun?
